Tot Spot Lloydminster is hosting a kids movie night on July 31 from 5 p.m. to 8p.m.
Drop off is available for $25 per child and or $15 per child to sit and stay. The event has 25 available spots.
All ages 2+ are welcome to watch Minions: Rise of Gru, accompanied by popcorn, pizza, snacks, drinks and playing in the indoor playground.
Stephanie Hotchkiss from Tot Spot is hosting this event and hopes parents can have time for themselves and not have to go through the stress of finding a babysitter.
“Lots of people don’t have babysitters or they don’t have places to drop their kids off, so I figured it’d be a good opportunity for them to go have a date night for themselves,” said Hotchkiss.
“I thought it would be a fun time to do a movie night,” she said. “I have been doing camps this summer, so we’ve been doing movie days where I set up the projector and screen and we watch a bit of a movie and do some playing in the indoor playground,”
This will be the first time Tot Spot has hosted a movie night.
“It’s the first one. Now I’ve got a popcorn maker, a projector and a screen. I’ve done it a few times with my day camps, and it was really fun,” said Hotchkiss.
Registeration for movie night is available at https://totspotlloydminster.com.
