One man has been arrested following a firearms complaint in Lloydminster.
According to Lloydminster RCMP, they received a call just after 9 a.m. Sept. 5 about a male who potentially had a handgun in his possession. The man had been posting videos of himself to social media with a possible firearm.
RCMP were able to narrow down the exact location of the male, and he was arrested at a nearby residence shortly after the original call.
The investigating is still ongoing and RCMP are completing a search warrant on the residence in question. Charges are pending against the male suspect.
RCMP say there’s no concern for the safety of the public at this time.
