LILA MAE BIEVER (NEE ENZENAUER)
We share with deep sadness the heart felt news of the passing of Lila Mae Biever at 91 years old. Born on Feb 27,1933 in the town of Kitscoty, AB. Lila spent her life dedicated to her family and her surviving husband Vernon whom she was married to for 71 years. She passed away in Edmonton, AB. on August 23, 2024 following a stroke, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and a strong feisty nature.
Lila’s life was woven with the threads of devotion and hard work. She found her life partner in Vernon Biever, and together they built a family grounded in faith and striving for excellence. Lila’s love blossomed into a beautiful family tree, with branches extending through their daughters Angela and Donna (John), and their sons Ross (Jen), Lyle (Dana) and John.
Lila also loved her grandchildren Lauren, Devon, Wyatt, Whitney, Zane, Kevin, Adrienne, Sean, Rachelle and Ryan. We were all touched by her energy and her commitment to make things happen.
Nothing was impossible.
Lila was an engaged homemaker, a physically active person who enjoyed golf and curling as well as the quieter times putting together a puzzle or playing cards. Lila was also an avid reader, still reading 40 or more books a year. Lila loved people and enjoyed walking and conversation. Lila embod- ied a spirit that was active and ever on the move. She embraced life and was very strong in her religious faith.
Lila will forever be dearly missed.
