The Lloydminster Men's Shelter has withdrawn its appeal for expansion.
The shelter was to make their case tomorrow in front of the appeal board at 9 a.m.
In a Facebook post they say, "Unfortunately, as the offer to purchase the building is off the table, we have decided to withdraw from the appeal. This means, for now, we are back to square one."
The expansion was to offer more emergency beds, a 24/7 washroom facility and additinoal resources for their clients.
They say they will remain committed to serving the community and will continue to explore new opportunities to expand.
