Hwy 16 at 56 Ave. is currently down to one lane going eastbound due to a collision.
Shortly before 6 p.m. the RCMP, Lloydminster Fire Department and Emergency Medical Services were alerted to a collision at the intersection.
Upon arrival, they located a white pick-up truck across two lanes of traffic. Extrication efforts were required by the fire department to free some victims.
The second vehicle was able to clear the scene and move to a nearby parking lot.
Officials were able to confirm to the Meridian Source that there were no significant injuries.
The roadway will remain closed while the significant debris field and vehicles can be cleared.
