Ross MacAngus, a North Battleford councillor, is facing criminal charges, according to a release by the city.
”Transparency is one of the fundamental core values of the City of North Battleford and city council, and in support of that value, the City of North Battleford would like to advise the public that Coun. Ross MacAngus has been charged with a criminal offence,” read the release.
The city says it will refrain from commenting at this time in respect of the judicial process. Comments may be made once an outcome has been determined on the charge.
MacAngus will retain his seat on council unless he is convicted.
