The Bioclean Aquatic Centre will no longer require pre-bookings, effective July 1.
“The Bioclean Aquatic Centre has observed a substantial increase in drop-in numbers, indicating a strong desire among our patrons to enjoy spontaneous swimming sessions,” said Mary Price, Manager of the Bioclean Aquatic Centre. “By removing the pre-booking option, we aim to create a more seamless and enjoyable experience for community members who wish to enjoy the indoor pool.”
Along with removing the pre-booking option, the time slots will no longer be available, meaning patrons will have access to the pool at all times during the facility’s operating hours. For the overall safety of facility users, the number of drop-ins will still be managed by the facility’s maximum capacity and the availability of lifeguards.
“We’ll continue to make every effort to optimize lifeguard staffing, particularly during peak hours, to maximize the safety and overall user experience,” added Price.
