Lloydminster RCMP is investigating gas tank mischief after receiving multiple reports between Jan. 26-28.
RCMP state residents have reported unknown suspects drilling holes in gas tanks, causing fuel spills and damage to vehicles. Reports have come from multiple areas of the city.
Lloydminster RCMP ask residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity, vehicles, or people in their neighbourhood. They also recommend parking in a locked garage if possible.
Victims of similar occurrences are asked to contact the Lloydminster RCMP at 780-808-8300. RCMP also ask the public for any photos, video surveillance or information regarding these incidents.
