Lloydminster RCMP arrest man on Canada-wide warrant

Lloydminster RCMP arrested Layne Antosh, 41, of Saskatoon on Jan. 27. Antosh was on a Canada-wide warrant as part of a fraud investigation in Saskatoon.

The investigation included allegations of financial crimes involving identity fraud, forgery and misrepresentation, and fraudulent activities targeting individuals and businesses across multiple provinces.

Antosh was charged with fraud over $5,000, identity fraud, forgery, failure to comply with release order conditions, failure to comply with probation conditions, possession of prohibited weapon (x2).

These charges were in addition, to his 10 warrants from Saskatoon City Police and eight warrants from Corman Park, Sask.

Antosh was brought before a Justice of the Peace and remanded into custody. Antosh will appear in Alberta Court of Justice, Lloydminster, on Jan. 30, 2025.
