Lloyd RCMP seize drugs, firearms in raid

Lloydminster RCMP has made another move to take drugs off city streets.

On Jan. 30, Lloydminster RCMP seized a large quantity of drugs and cash after raiding a home on 47 St. in Lloydminster.

The RCMP were investigating a possible illegal operation at the residence. During the search, officers found:

  • 500 grams of suspected cocaine
  • 500 grams of suspected fentanyl
  • 1 kilogram of methamphetamine
  • Over $16,000 in Canadian currency
  • A prohibited firearm
  • Unstamped tobacco cigarettes

“This seizure represents a substantial disruption to the illicit drug trade in our community, “ said Cpl. Christopher Byford. “The presence of fentanyl in particular, poses a serious risk to public safety, and we remain committed to targeting those who traffic harmful substances.”

Mark Enzenauer, 63, of Lloydminster, faces multiple charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking and unsafe storage of a firearm.

Meanwhile, he was remanded after appearing before a Justice of the Peace. His next court date is Jan. 31 at the Saskatchewan Court of Justice in North Battleford.
