The Lloydminster Bobcats were shut out at home after a long road trip.
The ‘Cats spent seven games on the road and have been experiencing a slide in February losing five of six so far.
Bobcats played host to the south division number one team the Canmore Eagles. The ‘Cats are currently sitting in third in the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s North Division with 48 points, trailing the Grand Prairie Storm by seven points.
Despite putting 35 shots on goal, the Bobcats could not find the back of the net against the Eagles. The visiting team scored near the end of the first period in the only goal of the game.
The ‘Cats face off against the Devon Xtreme tonight on a quick two-game road trip before returning home for five games.
