Trans Canada Gold Corp. has announced the acquisition of land that will allow for the drilling of up to three additional multilateral wells.

The 320-acre parcel offset existing lands to the south was acquired by the Croverro Energy Group.

Their operator, Croverro Energy, has acquired and processed two additional seismic lines. When combined with existing well control it will allow more precise targeting in the Sparky and GP zones.

“This will allow for drilling up to three more additional multilateral wells targeting the prolific Sparky and GP producing zones. We will be drilling our third large multi-lateral oil well shortly, with a reliable and experienced partner, who can consistently target and discover oil reservoirs, followed by successful drilling, oil production, low operational costs and proven revenue success,” said Tim Coupland, Trans Canada Gold Corp. president and CEO.

With the acquisition of these lands, it brings the total lands controlled to 1040 acres. Trans Canada Gold’s interest in the lands is 18.75 per cent.
