Cooper Moore of the Lloydminster Bobcats earned AJHL Rookie of the Week honours for the third time this season.

Moore recorded five points in two games, extending the team’s winning streak to nine games to end the regular season.
The Red Deer native scored a goal and an assist on March 14 to beat the Grande Prairie Storm 7-5. He then added another goal and two assists in a 5-3 win the next day to complete the double header with a 5-3 win.
The Bobcats (31-19-1-3) and Storm (30-17-1-6) will meet in the first round of the post-season after finishing a point apart in the Viterra AJHL North Division.
Moore is also a finalist for the AJHL Rookie of the Year Award. He collected 50 points in 42 games, ranking fifth among AJHL rookies in scoring and tying for first in team scoring.
The Bobcats are in Grand Prairie tonight for Game 1 of the best-of-seven series. Game 2 is scheduled for 6 p.m. on March 22 before the series returns to the Centennial Civic Centre.
Game 3, however, will take place on Tuesday, March 25 at 7 p.m., and Game 4 will follow on March 26 at 7 p.m.
