The Storm put the nail in the coffin on the best-of-seven series with a 4-3 overtime win at the Centennial Civic Centre on March 26 night.

Lloyd’s Ben Costantino struck first at 6:54 in the first with assists to Cooper Moore and Jamie Weller. Grande Prairie’s Alec Hall and Tomis Marinkovic, however, made it a 2-1 game before the end of the first frame.

Kaiden Wiltsie got the equalizer halfway through the second off a Gus El-Tahhan assist. Zachary Wilson, however, got the go-ahead goal 10 seconds later for a 3-2 lead to end the second period.

Bobcats assistant captain Kade Fendelet gave the boys in black and orange hope with an equalizer of his own two and a half minutes inside the third frame.

The Storm’s Marinkovic, however, sealed the deal at 13:26 in the third for a 4-3 win.
