The court case for Aaron Foster, 42, of Lloydminster, has once again been adjourned.

Moreover, it appears Foster is partially to blame for the delay.

Court files viewed and obtained by the Meridian Source show Foster obtained a lawyer to represent him in court.

His lawyer, on more than one occasion, requested an adjournment for various reasons. However, it is not clear if Foster has even attended the courthouse in Lloydminster, or if his attorney has made appearances on his behalf.

Furthermore, his original court date to face charges was Jan. 28.

April 8 will be his fifth opportunity to submit a plea to the court on the charges.

Meanwhile, the documents also reveal he was in a position of trust when he allegedly embezzled Canadian Currency.

Charges include:

1 of 4 CC  380(1)(A) – Fraud-over $5,000 2019OCT16 TO 2024SEP27
