Bobcats’ Deets named AJHL All-Academic Team

The AJHL named Dylan Deets of the Lloydminster Bobcats to its All-Academic Team.

Selected players demonstrate qualities of an exceptional student-athlete working to further their athletic and academic achievements.

The all-academic team recognizes players for commendable dedication to their studies and a grade score reflective of their academic success.

Alex Coventry (Bonnyville), Jack Plandowski (Calgary), Tyson Murray (Camrose), Liam Magnuson (Canmore), Jaxson Martin (Devon), Jaxson Martin (Drayton Valley), Will McLaughlin (Drumheller), Carter Schmidt (Fort McMurray), Kailus Green (Grande Prairie), Aiden Knutson (Olds), and Xavier Lacoste (Whitecourt) join Deets.

The AJHL will now decide which player will receive the annual $1,500 scholarship for academic achievements.

The selection committee awards the scholarship to the most deserving player based on qualities like leadership, sportsmanship, dedication, and citizenship.

Officials will announce the scholarship recipient at a later date.
