Today we celebrate 73 years of our brother, husband and father, Jerry Glen Hougham born July 11, 1951, passed March 24, 2025. Over the years you have been given many mountains to climb. Never once have the words “I can’t” be part of your vocabulary. Careers in your lifetime have included Brand Inspector, Grader Operator, Bank Manager, Seed Cleaning Operator, Farmer, Foreman of Hardy Excavating and lastly, Professional Mule Skinner. In 2000, you fell in love with your soul mate, Maxine, your love for each other in good times and very difficult times. Your positive attitude has carried through to your step-children in their troubled times. You are a true mentor to us all. On August 30, 2001, the second love of your life, little Patrick, made his entry into yours and Maxine’s heart. God gave you a gift to love and enjoy if only for a short time. I know Patrick will be waiting with his hand out and a wink in his eye on the steps of heaven to welcome you home. Thank you, Jerry for being our role model, our mentor and our best friend. Thank you for the love, the laughs and the countless memories you leave behind. You brought joy to everyone who knew you. Today is not good-bye, but rather “until we meet again”. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks Maxine and family would like to thank Jerry’s siblings and all those who showed support with phone calls, cards, flowers and food.
