Jesse Eric Dillon is back in handcuffs after a standoff with the Lloydminster RCMP on Sept. 18.

Police pulled several others out a of residence in the area of 51 Ave. and 23a St. during the ordeal. According to Alberta RCMP media relations, only one of the several pulled out was arrested.

The 33-year-old Edmonton resident was arrested for possession of stolen property.

Dillon, a well-known name within the walls the local RCMP detachment, was previously involved in a standoff with police in the city’s east end on June 4.

At the time, he was unlawfully at large after court staff inadvertently released him from the Lloydminster courthouse on May 16, 2024, despite a judge’s order to keep him in custody. He was also facing an assault with a weapon charge in Saskatoon.
