DENNIS: Bertha Barbara Dennis passed away at Pioneer House in Lloydminster, AB on August 25, 2025 at the age of 87 years. Bertha is loved and remembered by: her daughter, Shelly (Ed) Greupner; grandchildren, Jesse (Cheryl) Greupner, Kaleen Greupner (Devin Swyripa) and Vernon Lowrie (Hunter’s father); great grandsons, Lukas Greupner and Hunter Lowrie; great granddaughter, Katie Swyripa; brother-in-law, Lyle (Elaine) Dennis; sisters-in-law, Lois Hippe-Tweten and Carol Golinowski; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Bertha was predeceased by: her son, Terry Dennis; husband, Larry Dennis; parents, Frank and Hedwig Fournier; siblings, Frank (Audrey) Fournier, Hedy (Hans) Hohne and Margaret (Otto) Schoen; and parents-in-law, Charles Dennis and Katherine Dennis-Erker. The Celebration of Bertha’s Life was held at Legacy Centre, Lloydminster, AB on September 5, 2025. Donations in memory of Bertha may be made to Border City Connects. Bertha’s family wishes to extend our deepest appreciation to the staff of Pioneer House for their loving and compassionate care. As well, our most sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr. Ezumah for his understanding and compassionate care of Bertha.
