CHRISTENSEN: Lesley Christensen passed away peacefully at Lloydminster Continuing Care surrounded by family on July 14, 2025 at the age of 92. Les is lovingly remembered by: his devoted wife, Edith of 67 years; and his four daughters, Deb (Ken) Staniforth, Brenda Skinner, Gail (Murray) Forbes and Laurie (Korbin) Loy. Les leaves to mourn: his sister, Alice Ramsay; and brother, Al (Glad) Christensen; along with ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life was conducted at Neilburg Community Hall on Friday, July 18, 2025 and the interment was held at East Manitou Cemetery. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements. Card of Thanks Les’ family would like to thank all those who lovingly shared their sympathy with visits, words of condolences, flowers, food and donations. A special thanks to the staff at Lloydminster Continuing Care where Les resided for the past 14 months. Also, a very special thanks to the East Manitou Ladies Club and the members of Neilburg Museum for providing a wonderful lunch. We are also grateful to the band Memory Lane from Lloydminster who provided dance music which Les so loved.
