Cold Lake RCMP is investigating after a man and woman were found with gunshot wounds early Saturday morning.

Around 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 8, emergency medical services notified RCMP they were on scene at the corner of 51 St. and 51 Ave. in Cold Lake with two people suffering from gunshot wounds. Police said both victims, a 20-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man, are expected to survive.
During the investigation, officers identified a suspect vehicle described as a 2001 Toyota Tundra. The truck matched a vehicle later found burned near 54 Ave. and 61 St.
RCMP is asking anyone with video surveillance or dashcam footage from either area between midnight and 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 8 to review their recordings and submit anything that could assist the investigation.
