Lloydminster Mayor Gerald Aalbers says the sponsorship will support day-to-day experiences as the Hub is quickly becoming a gathering place.
“Microtel Inn & Suites’ sponsorship of a water filling station supports the day-to-day experience of guests and reflects a strong commitment to community wellness and hospitality,” he said.
The sponsorship was recognized during a cheque presentation inside the newly-opened Hub.
Mathew Adebogun, general manager at Microtel Lloydminster, says they’re happy to be situated so close to the facility.
“Many of our hotel guests are active participants in local sports and supporting active youth and our close-knit community in meaningful ways is important to us,” he said. “This sponsorship is a natural fit, reflecting our commitment to environmental responsibility and community well-being.”
The sponsorship is part of the ongoing Fill the Seats campaign.
