Lloydminster RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) members executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant on a hotel room in the city on Dec. 17 as part of an ongoing drug investigation.

Police seized cocaine, cash and drug-trafficking paraphernalia during the search.
Curtis Martineau, 53, and Kailey Marshall, 35, both of Lloydminster, face charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime.
Both appeared before a justice of the peace and agreed to release conditions. They must appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Jan. 13, 2026.
“This search warrant is part of our continued commitment to targeting drug trafficking and associated criminal activity in our community,” said Cpl. Jason DeCoste of the Lloydminster CRU.
“We will continue to proactively investigate these crimes and ask that anyone with information on criminal activity contact the Lloydminster RCMP.”
