Mandy Breadlaw was located and arrested with the assistance of the Calgary Fugitive Apprehension Team and faces 26 outstanding warrants, police said. Police charged Breadlaw with break and enter, mischief over $5,000 and theft over $5,000, and held her in custody pending a Jan. 15 appearance in Alberta Court of Justice in Wainwright.

The charges stem from a break and enter reported Dec. 29, 2024, at about 10 a.m., involving an ATM near 39 Ave. and 50 St. Police said suspects forced entry into the machine and stole more than $130,000 in cash. Damage and replacement costs for the ATM were estimated at nearly $30,000.

RCMP said the investigation involved canvassing local businesses for video surveillance and obtaining multiple judicial authorizations, which ultimately led to the identification of a female suspect.

“This investigation required a significant commitment of resources and strong collaboration between multiple policing partners,” said Sgt. Christopher Byford of the Lloydminster RCMP in a release. “The assistance of local businesses and law enforcement partners was critical in identifying and locating the suspect.”
