Two women are facing multiple charges after a firearm was discharged during an altercation in North Battleford earlier this week.
Battlefords RCMP say officers were called to a report of an altercation outside a home on Clark Drive at about 10:15 p.m. on Feb. 16. Police determined a dispute had occurred between a group of people and that a firearm was discharged during the incident. No injuries were reported.

Following an investigation, officers arrested two adult women at a residence on Sweetgrass First Nation on Feb. 17. Police say they seized a handgun, a firearm magazine and ammunition from the home.
Alexa White, 24, of Sweetgrass First Nation, is charged with assault with a weapon; possession of a restricted or prohibited firearm with ammunition without a licence or registration; unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted weapon; possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose; and discharging a firearm while being reckless.
Lexie White, 21, of Sweetgrass First Nation, is charged with assault with a weapon; discharging a firearm while being reckless; obstructing a peace officer; unauthorized possession of a firearm; possession of a firearm with a tampered serial number; careless use of a firearm; and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Both women were scheduled to appear in North Battleford provincial court on Feb. 19.
Saskatchewan RCMP Police Dog Services assisted with the investigation, which remains ongoing.
