JUDY MARGARET ROMA: OCTOBER 26, 1951 – FEBRUARY 12, 2026 On February 12, 2026, Judy Roma passed away in the comfort of her own home. Judy was predeceased by her parents Mike and Margaret, and her husband Wayne. She will be lovingly remembered by her brothers, Jerry and Don Gach and their families, and her son Michael and daughter-in-law Lindsay, and their children Alivia and Lincoln. She also leaves behind numerous friends and social circles. Judy was a farm girl that became a school teacher. She married Wayne and they brought two different worlds together: rural Alberta meets maritime musical kitchen party. She was a vice principal, won numerous teaching awards, and was active in the church throughout her life. She was very proud of her son and daughter-in-law, but even more so of her two beloved grandchildren. In her later years, she volunteered as the treasurer of her condo association and watched countless hours of semi-professionally streamed youth hockey and baseball. She was creative and crafty and an excellent cook, she was funny, caring and intelligent and most importantly, she loved and was loved. A memorial service will be held at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (13 Brower Dr, Sherwood Park, Alberta) on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 10am followed by a lunch. The internment will follow at the Lloydminster Public Cemetery at 4pm. The memorial service will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend in person. The family is humbled and grateful for all of the support we have received during this tough time and appreciate all of you who have reached out. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
