Integra Engineering Ltd. hosted the community event on May 27 to raise money for MS Canada, a cause that hits close to home for many of the company’s employees.
“It started out as an opportunity for our team to participate in the (MS) Walk, and we use this event to raise money for the walk,” said Erin Bandola, general manager of Integra. “It turns out, we also have a lot of our employees who have people that have been affected by MS in their family.”
Bandola, who has served as the firm’s general manager for nearly three years, said the breakfast has seen steady growth. Last year, the event drew a record crowd of nearly 200 people and raised $8,250 for multiple sclerosis research and support programs.

To beat that record this year, the company introduced online pre-orders and a delivery service for local workplaces.
The strategy paid off. Integra secured roughly 100 pre-orders ahead of Wednesday’s breakfast, up from 40 the previous year.
“We reached out to our contacts and sent them the information ahead of time,” Bandola said. “Seeing a big growth in that area … it’s great. Raising that awareness in the community and contributing to a good cause is what we’re all about.”
Integra Engineering has served the region’s oil and gas industry since 1997.
