After celebrating its 70th anniversary last year, the reputable Lea Park Rodeo began the next chapter a week into June as it hosted the three-day show in the picturesque setting north of Marwayne, Alta., nestled in trees and near a river.

The final two days of the rodeo escaped the rain that soaked the opening-night performance. Lea Park remains a spring staple for spectators and competitors alike.
