Legion spreads remembrance with $25K worth of donations

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #39 Lloydminster capped this year’s Remembrance Day with $25,000 in donations to community organizations.

The Salvation Army Lloydminster and The Olive Tree each received $7,500. The Lloydminster Public and Lloydminster Catholic school divisions were awarded $3,000 each, while the 186 Lloydminster Squadron Royal Canadian Air Cadets received $4,000.
