BAERT: Rita Baert passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on November 30, 2025 at the age of 100 years. Rita is survived by: her son, Moe; daughters-in-law, Wyn and Jeannette; son-in-law, John; grandchildren, Ken (Noelia), Doug (Kristy), Mark (Lyn), Tyler, Owen and Chase (Dana); step-grandchildren, Chantal (Ty), Shawn and Kelly (Marilyn); and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Rita was predeceased by: her husband, Archie; parents, Albert and Julienne; sons, Gerry, Frank and Ron; daughter, Brenda; daughter-in-law, Sheila; brothers, Henri and Leon; and sisters, Loretta “Pearl” and Isabelle. The Prayer Vigil and Mass of Christian Burial for Rita was conducted from St. Anthony’s Roman Catholic Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 10:00 am. The interment was held at the Lloydminster City Cemetery, Donations in memory of Rita may be made to St. Anthony’s CWL or donor’s Charity of Choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
