Police seek public’s assistance locating missing female

The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 26-year-old female.

Danecia Funk, 26, was last seen on Jan. 14, in the area of the University of Alberta Hospital. She was reported missing to police on June 23.

Funk is a white female who stands approximately 5’4”, weighing approximately 120 lbs. with brown eyes and brown hair.

Her disappearance is considered out of character, and as such, there are concerns for her wellbeing. Funk is originally from Saskatchewan and still has ties there.

Anyone who has information regarding Funk’s whereabouts, or who has had contact with her since Friday January 14, 2022, is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone.
