Thiessen: Verley Luella Thiessen passed away at Points West Living, Lloydminster, Alberta, February 6, 2023 at the age of 98 years.
Verley will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by: her children, Judy (Jerry) McKee, Gary (Lorraine) Thiessen and Laurie (Neil) Harris; grandchildren, Shelley (Don), Kelly (Christine), Shawn (Yuliya), Cindy (Matt), Donavan (Laura), Jill (Forrest) and Janice (Lee); great grandchildren, Jenna (Jesse), Josh (Becky), Katelynn (Josh), Mitchell (Bailee), Ty, Katherine, Kenneth, Kyle, Maxwell, Clayton, Evertte, Sage, River, Brody and Jordy; five great-great grandchildren, Ava, Jackson, Westin, Chase and Cole; two sisters-in-law, Florence Deschamps and Grace Maxner; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and her special friend, Sabra Noble.
Verley is predeceased by: her husband, Gordon; parents, Elmer and Barbara Busch; sisters, Lavetta, Henrietta and her twin sister, Shirley; brothers, Rego, Laird and Junior; nephew, Glenn; and her niece, Gaylene.
A Celebration of Life, officiated by Reverend Cathy Kinsman, was held at Grace United Church, Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. If you were unable to attend, you may view the live streaming of the service which is posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Verley's obituary.
Donations in memory of Verley may be made to Special Olympics Lloydminster or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
