Lloyd RCMP lay trafficking charges

On April 4, Lloydminster General Investigation Section (GIS), along with Lloydminster Police Dog Service (PDS) executed a search warrant at a residence in the Lloydminster area in relation to a possession for the purpose of trafficking investigation.

As a result of the search warrant and the ongoing investigation, officers located and seized approximately 2.1 oz of suspected methamphetamine, 1oz of suspected morphine, and 3.9 grams of suspected fentanyl.

Alexia Marsh, 18, a resident of Lloydminster and Lisa Drouin, 43, a resident of Lloydminster were arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking Morphine

Wade Gower, 52, a resident of Lloydminster, was arrested and charged with the following:

  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking Methamphetamine
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking Morphine
  • Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking Fentanyl

Gower was held for a Judicial Interim Release Hearing where he was remanded into custody by a Justice of the Peace. Gower is scheduled to appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court (Sask) on April 8.

Marsh and Drouin were both held for a Judicial Interim Release Hearing where they were both released and are scheduled to appear in court Lloydminster Provincial Court (Sask) on April 24.
