The Paradise Valley Fire Department rescued a dog who had wiggled into a driveway culvert.
The fire department received a request for assistance on July 15 to respond to a report of a dog trapped in a culvert.
When fire fighters went to the scene they discovered a dog. Had wiggled about 15 ft. into a driveway culvert.
Protective Services - County of Vermilion River said in a Facebook post “the dog wiggled down likely to beat the heat.”
Crews on scene used shovels, extrication equipment and machinery to safely extract the dog.
The pup was checked on scene and was released to its owners.
