Maidstone RCMP is seeking information regarding a suspicious person at Sandy Beach Regional Park.
According to RCMP, on Aug. 27, around 4 p.m., they received a report of a suspicious adult male who approached and was speaking with a young child at a playground Sandy Beach.
The adult male was not known to the child and ran away after they were approached by the child’s parent.
The man is described as, Caucasian, approxmately 6 ft., 180-200 lbs., with short brown hear. He was wearing navy-coloured running shoes with blue shorts, a grey T-shirt, sunglasses, and a hat, carrying a beach mat.
Officers conducted patrols in the area but were unable to locate the man.
