Lloydminster RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance after some bee hives were stolen.
On Aug. 29, RCMP received a report of a theft of bee hives from a local apiary in the area of 75 Ave.
When police arrived, the owner of the property observed approximately $10,000 worth of bee hives and containers of honey stolen, along with damage to other hives on the property.
It’s believed the theft occurred sometime around Aug. 28.
Lloydminster RCMP continue to investigate the matter and are seeking the public’s assistance.
