The Lakeland College Rustlers volleyball teams are back in action this weekend for exhibition play.
The Rustlers men’s volleyball team is in store for a busy weekend with nine matches on home court.
The men play the Assiniboine College Cougars today (Sept. 20) at 10 a.m. and the Canadian Mennonite University at noon and 6 p.m. They also play the Olds College Broncos at 8 p.m.
Saturday has two matches on the schedule with the Cougars at 1 p.m. and the Broncos at 7:30 p.m.
Sunday will see the Rustlers play the University of Augusta Vikings at 10 a.m., Cougars at noon, and the Vikings again at 4 p.m.

Rustlers women’s volleyball
The Rustlers championship women’s volleyball team start today at noon against the Cougars. They play the Keyano College Huskies at 2 p.m. before The King’s University (TKU) Eagles at 8 p.m.
Saturday sees the women playing another three matches. They play TKU at 11 a.m., the Vikings at 3:30 p.m., and Medicine Hat College at 7:30 p.m.
The Rustlers then play the Broncos at noon on Sunday and the Concordia University Thunder at 4 p.m.
After going 18-1, winning provincial gold and a national championship last season, the Rustlers are excited for this season.
