OLYNYK: Larry Olynyk passed away at Lloydminster Hospital, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan on September 1, 2024, at the age of 74 years. Larry is survived by wife, Geraldine; sons, Dustin (Mileydi) and Ryan (Tanis); stepdaughter, Shannon (Jim) Byers; stepson, Tim (Jamie) Rorke; grandchildren, Jordan (Amber), Joshua, Tegan (Judy), Justin, Robyn (Ethan), Keanna (Jayden), Braylin, Madison, Abigail and Malcolm; brothers, Roy (Elaine) and Rob (Karen) Olynyk; brother-in-law, Rod McCorriston (Keli); sisters-in-law, Kate McCorriston and Judy (Eugene) Kowalchuk; aunt, Olga Pastachak; uncles, Steve and Nestor (Gloria) Werstiuk; Larry was predeceased by: his parents, Peter and Victoria Olynyk; and brother-in-law, Mel McCorriston. The Funeral Service for Larry was conducted from Lloydminster Exhibition, WLS Convention Centre, Lloydminster, SK. on Monday, September 9, 2024. The interment was held at the Lloydminster City Cemetery, Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Donations in memory of Larry may be made to donor’s charity of choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
