Viking RCMP are currently on scene at a serious motor vehicle collision, involving a semi-truck hauling crude oil, located east of Viking on Highway 619.
The semi truck caught the soft shoulder of the road, drifted into a ditch and then caught on fire. The driver of the vehicle sustained minor injuries and no other vehicles were involved.
The highway is expected to be closed for several hours and traffic is being diverted  We ask that the public avoid the area at this time.
