Wainwright RCMP arrested a 47-year-old female from Wainwright on Dec. 3 as part of an ongoing investigation into suspected drug trafficking.
RCMP conducted a search warrant at a residence on 7 Ave. in Wainwright.
The search team seized the following items:
- 691 grams of suspected cocaine worth approximately $15,000;
- 12 grams of suspected methamphetamine;
- 263 tablets of unknown medications;
- $1,285 of Canadian currency.
The 47-year-old female was arrested and has charges pending for:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of property obtained by crime
The woman was released to appear for court on Jan. 8, 2025, at the Alberta Court of Justice in Wainwright.
