McDONALD: Douglas “Murray” McDonald passed away peacefully at his home in Kitscoty, AB on January 24th, 2025 surrounded by his family at age 96. Murray is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Beatrice; children, Daryl (Sandra) McDonald, Donna (Cliff) Ruud, James McDonald and Carolyn (Rocky) Buksa; brother, Don McDonald of Kamloops, BC; 8 Grandchildren, Angie McDonald (Kim Hudon), Lindsay (Travis) Pollard, Tony (Sharlyn) Graham, Brett (Kristen) Graham, Janie McDonald, Jordan McDonald, Kayla Buksa (Theo Van Gurp) and Cole Buksa (Andrea Millman); 2 step grandchildren, Tara (Kon) Petroutsokas and Carson (Elexa) Ruud; 21 great grandchildren; and numerous nephews, nieces. Donations may be made to the Kitscoty Community Church or charity of your choice. McCaw Funeral Service Ltd., of Lloydminster, Alberta administered the funeral arrangements.
