KLOTZ, NelsonOctober 30, 1929 – February 8, 2025 Nelson Klotz, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on February 8th, 2025 in Turtleford, Saskatchewan at the kind age of 95 years. Nels was born on October 30th, 1929 on the family farm outside of Denzil, Saskatchewan. Nels was one of 10 boys in a family of 22 children of Cecilia and Dominick Klotz. He lived a long and fulfilling life, with many jobs over the years and leaves behind a trail of entrepreneurship, family and friends. Nels will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, DeeDee (Roger) McConnell – Raylene (Torrie), Danika (Kirk), Makenzie (Ben); son, Andrew (Helen) Klotz – Ashley (Mark) and Brody (Samantha); daughter, Sharon Cousins – Mathew, Mark, and Michelle; daughter, Theresa (Wayne) Lerch – Russell and Jason; son, Daryle Klotz – Dawn, Dale, Adam, Jake, and Daniel. He is also remembered by his stepdaughters: Audrey (Dale), Donna (Richard) and Betty (Dale). Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Frank, Joe and Tom and sister, Lorraine, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and especially the Frerichs boys. Nels was predeceased by his wife, Mary and numerous siblings. Family and friends will be celebrating Nels’ life at Lloydminster Exhibition, Nissan Hall at 11am AB time/12pm SK time on Thursday, February 13th, 2025.
