Accused child lurer, Patrick John Kelly, 40, of Vermilion, had his first appearance in court yesterday, March 4.
Meanwhile, according to court documents, authorities have remanded him into custody and he will next appear on March 18.
Additionally, on the same day, Aaron Foster will also appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court.

Vermilion RCMP charged Kelly after an investigation into alleged sexually explicit text messages.
The investigation began after authorities received a report about an inappropriate message sent to a youth under 18 on March 1.
Meanwhile, police did not release further details to protect the victim’s identity.
