For over thirty years, Garth illuminated homes and businesses as a skilled Master electrician. His expertise was more than a profession; it was a craft, executed with precision and pride. This dedication to his trade reflected his approach to everything he did. He had such pride in his work that he happily passed the knowledge and skills to his sons. But it was in the realm of sports where Garth’s passion truly shone. His contributions to the Lloydminster sporting landscape were immeasurable. As the head director of the Lloydminster Softball Division, he steered the organization with vision and commitment, ensuring countless individuals had the opportunity to play and grow. He wasn’t just an administrator; he was a coach, a mentor, and an unwavering supporter of every player who stepped onto the diamond. Garth’s coaching wasn’t limited to strategy and skill; it was about instilling values, building character, and fostering a sense of camaraderie. He understood the power of teamwork and the importance of sportsmanship, shaping not just athletes, but well-rounded individuals. His involvement extended beyond the dugout. Garth was a respected referee, ensuring fairness and integrity in both softball and boxing. His keen eye and impartial judgment earned him the respect of players and spectators alike.
