The 62-year-old male who attacked an RCMP station with a trackhoe in Bonnyville will remain behind bars for the time being.
David Merko remains in custody after his initial court appearance on May 6. He will appear again on May 20 for a chance to plea.
Merko faces 13 criminal charges, including dangerous driving, mischief, break and enter, theft and resisting arrest after a wild rampage on May 3.
As he ran from the scene, police used drone operators, police dogs and other resources to catch him.
Merko has also threatened police safety in the past.
He will appear in the Bonnyville provincial court.
