RCMP police dog services is currently investigating at the ATCO sub station at 75 Ave. and 12 St.
Although very early in the investigation, RCMP media relations confirmed the early-morning power outage on May 19 was not accidental.

“Just before 7 a.m. on May 19, Lloydminster members of the RCMP were dispatched to the ATCO sub station where there was suspicious mischief happening,” said Cpl. Mathew Howell.
“Damaged was caused to the electric sub station and the RCMP is currently investigating and helping ATCO secure the scene.”
