Thanks to support from Canadian Tire in Lloydminster, COP gifted bicycles to 11-year-old Hurley and 5-year-old Kaylee.
“We are a non-profit organization and are always fundraising and looking for members,” said COP president Don Larry. “The contest was an opportunity for us to hopefully gain some new members.”

Kaylee chose a bike with training wheels and a new helmet in addition to winning a $200 gift card to Canadian Tire.
Her mother, Renee Kelly, said the prize came at the perfect time.
“It was quite the surprise,” said Kelly. “We had decided she needed a new bike and then she won this one. It was like fate.”
A representative from Canadian Tire said they proudly support local communities.
“Participating in the community is part of the company’s commitment to the areas it serves,” said the company official.
COP hopes operations like this raise awareness about the organization.
