The 2025 Canadian Professional Chuckwagon Association (CPCA) championships kicked off at the Lloyd Ex’s Halstead Downs last night (Aug. 20).
Despite soft track conditions due to rain, Kurt Bensmiller and his Top Grade Construction wagon won the Day 1 aggregate with a 1:21.75 run.
Rounding out the top three was Preston Faithful in his Ayik Energy wagon at 1:22.64 and Ryan Baptiste in his Little Pine Store wagon at 1:22.80.
