Lloydminster RCMP has charged a woman with forcible confinement and assault causing bodily harm, along with several other offences, following an arrest on Jan. 16.

Police located Amanda Ironstand at a residence in Lloydminster. A search conducted incident to her arrest uncovered a baton and quantities of methamphetamine and fentanyl.
Ironstand has also been charged with:
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
- Possession of a controlled substance (two counts)
- Fail to comply with a release order (two counts)
She appeared before a Justice of the Peace and has been remanded into custody. Her next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 19, at the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan in Lloydminster.
