Saskatoon RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating an escaped prisoner last seen Monday on Whitecap Dakota Nation.

Police say they received a report at approximately 2:20 p.m. on Feb. 2 that an inmate had escaped custody. The prisoner, who was serving a sentence at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre, was last seen around 11:30 a.m. the same day.
As a result of the investigation, 53-year-old Dale Patrick has been charged with one count of being unlawfully at large, contrary to Section 145(1) of the Criminal Code.
RCMP say officers have been checking locations Patrick is known to frequent and following up on information received. The Saskatoon Police Service has also been notified and is assisting in the search.
Patrick is described as approximately five feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds, with brown eyes and brown greying hair. He has no facial hair and was last seen wearing a red, blue and white plaid shirt and jeans.
Police say Patrick has connections to Saskatoon, North Battleford and Leduc, though his current whereabouts are unknown.
